Blogmas ??

Hii everyone :))

Not chatted in a while have we, so maybe your wondering what have I been doing ??
Well first of all I have been quite busy with school lately. I have been studying for a lot of tests that are coming up to determine what level I do in the subjects that I pick to do in fourth year. So far I have done a chemistry and physics test and have past both at a fourth/fifth national level. I still have a lot more tests to do leading up to Christmas and then in January I will finally pick what subjects I move on to do in fourth year.

Also I have been quite busy with birthdays and other family occasions. Last weekend I had my little brothers birthday party, where I was the entertainer to all the children hahahah. All his friends have autism the same as him so it is very hard to keep them entertained as they have a short attention span. I have also had my best friends party on Saturday there, so I spent the whole weekend with her.

I was thinking that in December I will do Blogmas. How does that sound ?? I wish I had a YouTube channel so that I could do vlogmas as it sounds like great fun, but I don't so I will just stick to Blogmas. If anyone doesn't know what it is, you will need to wait until the first of December untill I do my first blogmas post. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas of posts that I could do ?? If so just leve them in the comments box down below :)) also if you have any questions you would like to know leave them down there to :)

Baking with caitlin - chocolate brownies

Hello everyone I'm back !!! I'm sorry that I have been neglecting my blog a bit lately but I have been very busy with school and other things. Since its the October break and I'm off on holiday I decided that I would do a spot of baking and bake some chocolate brownies.

Because they turned out so delicious I thought I would share the deliciousness of them with you guys by doing a cute little blog post on them :) I hope that I inspire some of you to make them and if you do leave me a comment telling me how they turned out :))

INGREDIENTS

185g unsalted butter

185g dark chocolate

85g plain flour

40g Cocoa powder

50g White chocolate

50g milk chocolate

3 large eggs

275g golden caster sugar

You can get all of these ingredients out of any large supermarket.

Start off by setting your oven to 180c and then grease a 20cm tin with butter.

Next you want to cut your butter and dark chocolate into cubes and put it into a heat proof bowl. Then put a piece of cling film over the bowl and melt in the microwave for two minutes or until melted. After that you want to leave the mixture to cool until it's room temperature.

Whilst that mixture is cooling you want to sieve together the flour and cocoa powder, into a separate bowl.

Now take a sharp knife and chop up your white and milk chocolate into small chunks. After the chocolate is chopped up move it over to the side to be added to the mixture later on.

Next take your three eggs and caster sugar and add them to a separate medium bowl. Then take a electric mixer and mix them up until it is like a thick bubbly milkshake. Another way to check if the mixture is ready is to lift out the whisk and if the mixture leaves a trail on top for a few seconds it's ready.
This is what the mixture should look like.

Now take the cooled chocolate mixture and pour it over the eggy mixture (eggy I hate that word ewww) and gently fold together the mixture until it looks like the picture above.

Now fold in the cocoa powder mixture until it looks like this :
(It will take a few minutes to get the mixture looking like this so don't give up)

The last step is to mix in the chocolate chunks until they are right through it.

Now all you have to do is put the mixture into the tin making sure it goes into all the corners, then with a spatula make sure it is Smooth on the top. Put it into the over for about 25 to 30 minutes (until you can put a knife in it and it will come out clean)

When it is ready leave it to cool down then cut into squares (I cut it into 20 equal squares)

Now they are ready to eat Yummmmyyyy!!

Is you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments :)) Byyee

Where have I been ???

ohh this is strange not been on here in a while, have you missed me ?? I'm so sorry I've not been doing many posts in a while but I have been relly busy.

At the start of the month I went to France for a week with my school, it was so much fun. It was also the fist time I have been out of the uk and it wasn't even with my family :(( we never even went on a plane to get there we went on a bus, which was really boring it took over twenty two hours just to get there !!! But see when we were actually in France it was the best time of my life. We went to so many amazing places, disney land, Paris and visited all the major landmarks (like the Eiffel tower, notradame and so many other amazing places.) we also went to little markets and shopping malls which was really hard because I don't speak French that great. Also while I was there I ate frogs legs and if any of you are wondering what they taste like..... They taste like nothing but have the texture of a chicken hahahah. I was to scared to eat a snail but they look to slimy and gooey... Yuuuckkkkk!!
I will also let you into a little secret but you can't tell anyone promise... The boys look ten times nicer than the ones in Scotland hahaha

Also my friend has got a caravan so I have been spending all my weekends down there and there isn't any internet. Also I think it would be a bit rude if I sad in my laptop the whole time I was there, don't you so I'm sure you understand :))

I have also had a lot of tests and exams this month so I have been pretty busy spending a lot of my time studying for them and I'm happy to tell you guys I passed them all yeeyyyyyy

All these pictures are from my times spend in France :))

Sorry I know there is lot of photos and they are really bad quality:)) It would mean the world to me if you could subscribe to my blog and maybe even recommend it to a friend xx Byyeee xx

July favourites

So sorry I've not posted in a while I have been really busy trying to get ready for going back to school and I was on holiday for a while aswell... But I'm back now :))

Anyway it's monthly favourite time again yeyy.... And by what google is telling me my last favourites is your favourite post that I have done so far, is it ??

The first thing I have been loving this month is a moisturiser cream for hands and feet by palmers. It is called Palmers cocoa butter formula with vitamin e and it also happens to smell delightful. Incase anyone buys this and is tempted to put it on their face don't, because the cocoa butter will clog up all your pours and give you a nasty breakout... Don't tell me I never warned you hahaha

The next thing I have been loving wearing on my face instead on foundation when I'm having good skin days is Nivea daily essentials tinted moisturising day cream.  It is great for days where you have clear skin but still just need to cover up some redness and even out your skin tone. I believe you can only get it in one shade "natural" because that's the only one I've seen in shops but see if any of you see any different shades can you tell me in the comments ?? Also I know the bottles a bit dirty don't shout at me please :))

Lately I have been spraying a lot of air fresheners in my room as it can start to smell sometimes with the two pets in my room. My two favourite ones has been air wick Mulled wine and cinnamon apple which is really meant for Christmas but it's okay... My other favourite has been air wick Crisp linen and lilac.

My next favourite thing this month has been this blog and the 500 hundred people that has visited it.
This has been my first full month of blogging and I have loved it. I know I said I would blog everyday last month but I went on holiday at the end of the month and never had any wifi so I couldn't upload any posts sorry :(( also shoutout to Kristina who is my first ever follower :))

Lastly my last favourite is actually a place and it is England. I went on holiday there and absolutely loved it. Even though it's attached to Scotland the weather is so much nicer, the place I went to was so much prettier than Scotland and I love the accent it's beautiful (if any of you people that read my blog are Australian or English I am jealous of your voice haha)

If you have any posts you would like me to do just let me know in the comments :))
P.s. Would you like me to do a school wear haul ??
